Bespoke Wooden Planters
Materials we use
Our rustic but smart timber planters are always very popular and look lovely in a variety of garden settings. The timber is FSC certified and pressure treated so that it will last many years. We found that the planters sold in many garden centres are not very good quality and are expensive. Our smart rustic planters are a really cost effective way of bringing a wooden style to your garden.
Next we have the decking wood. Again this is FSC certified and pressure treated to give it many years of use. The decking wood offers more of a chic and elegant look to the planter. Decking wood is slightly thicker and more heavy duty than the rustic wood hence our decking planters are a little more expensive than our plain ones but still very good value.
We can also line the planter if required. Over the years I have experienced poor quality liners which rip, tear and perish over time and are just not up to the job. We use a heavy duty pond liner that is extremely durable to give the planter longevity and make it easy to plant out. You can opt for just the base to be lined or you can have the liner up the internal sides and the price will vary accordingly.
We offer a choice of finishes to suite you individual taste:
- Light brown - Our most popular finish and the one we use on all of our off the shelf planters. It gives the planter a nice wash of colour but is not too dark.
- Dark brown - we can also offer a dark brown option.
- Unfinished - some clients require the planter to be unfinished so they can paint them themselves and match other garden features.
***If you would like images of the finishes just drop us an email and we can send you over some images***
How to place an order ?
If you are interested in having a bespoke planter made, our process is nice and easy!
You can simply drop us an email or give us a call and we can discuss what dimensions and style you are interested in. After this we will then come up with a drawing to give you an idea of what your planter will look like. As well we will quote a price too.
When we have confirmation that you are happy with the drawing and the dimensions we will then ask you to pay a 30% deposit before we start to make. When the planter is completed, we can arrange delivery / postage and also ask you for the balance. When the balance is paid we then ship the planter to you.
